Jarle Thorsen has been an entrepreneur for many years. He has pitched innovative ideas to investors, having had a fair share of rejections along the way. Mr. Thorsen is knowledgeable in the field of communication, business, and entrepreneurship, having founded and co-founded firms over the years.
Mr. Thorsen urges entrepreneurs to not make the mistake of assuming clients and investors already have an idea of what their product or service is about. While investors are brilliant individuals, a walkthrough regarding the product or service being pitched is still needed. He believes that conversations are powerful, and applies the wisdom of famous architect Robert M.A. Stern who said that dialogue between an architect and a client is as intimate as any conversation one can have because when they speak of building a house, they’re talking about dreams.
Jarle Thorsen is also interested in photography, computer security and forensics, and the sharing of interesting ideas.
